GLASSES - SHORT FILM

“GLASSES” is a comedic but somewhat tragic tale about a boy with a piece of technology way beyond his imagination (a pair of glasses which can read the mind of everybody)
But rather than using it for any grand purposes, he tried to use it to cheat on his final, and then things just went downhill from there.
Through this narrative project, I would like to explore the themes of human morality and the fast-changing technology. The story is set in a context that everyone my age is familiar with, a high school environment in which students can easily use technology to cheat.
My story aims at the targeted audience of mostly teenagers but every other age groups can pick up the message with ease.
​SYPNOSIS
The main character - Hieu already has the glasses. Today is the final, he still hasn't decided whether he will use the glasses to cheat or not, he thinks about it all the way from home till the moment he sits down in the examination room, he still has not chosen his path.
Only 15 minutes left till the due to summit his exam, he’s starting to freak out and turn the glasses on uncontrollably which doesn't help because all he can hear is other students' minds thinking about nonsensical stuff. In the end, the pair of glasses can't handle all the chaos and noises coming from the class. He screams out loud and throws the glasses out of the window but it’s too late everybody is looking at him and he gets kicked out of the class.
